Tight security, scanty passengers: Abuja-Kaduna train takes first trip in 8 months (PHOTOS)
The Abuja-Kaduna train service finally resumed on Monday after eight months of suspension caused by terrorist attacks that left about nine person dead and dozens abducted.
Though passengers were very few on the first day, there was tight security at the train stations and armed security men were seen serving as escort inside the train cabin.
In March, the government suspended operations on the route after an attack on the train on March 28, leading to the death and abduction of several passengers.
