Bandits Abduct Passengers Traveling Along Benin-Ore Highway

A yet to be confirmed number of travellers have been kidnapped along Benin-Ore expressway, Ondo State.

The incident was confirmed on Sunday by the spokesperson of the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami.

The police image maker, while briefing the press, said the command is yet to ascertain number of people that were abducted by the hoodlums.

She explained that the anti-kidnapping unit swiftly responded to the incident and has been conducting a thorough search within the Iju forest.

Odunlami added that no official reports had been received from the families of the owners of the two vehicles, and there were no reports of missing individuals in the state.
