PHOTOS: Tears As Slain BRT Passenger, Bamise Is Buried 10 Months After She Was Brutally Murdered 

The BRT Passenger, Bamise Ayanwola who was killed in a controversial circumstance in February has been buried ten months after she was killed.

She was buried on Friday at Atan Cemetery in Yaba Lagos.

The late young girl who was said to have boarded a Bus Rapid Transport from Chevron in Lekki to a destination in Oshodi reportedly noticed an unusual development in the bus which prompted her to do a voice recording which she sent to her friend.

Shortly after sending the voice note, she became untraceable for many days until her body was found days later.

He death sparked a major controversy in the public as many Nigerians called on the Lagos State state government to get to the root of her murder and ensure the perpetrator is brought to book.

A BRT driver who drove the bus she boarded was fingered in her death and he is currently facing trial over charges conspiracy, rape and murder.

Owonikoko was said to be conveying the victim to Oshodi when Oluwabamise observed that he refused to pick other passengers on the road.

She reportedly contacted one of her colleagues at work, Felicia Omolara, to inform her about her suspicion and she was advised to disembark from the bus.

Omolara, however, noted that when her friend no longer responded to her chats online, she called her phone number, adding that when she picked up the call, a man was heard arguing with Oluwabamise.

It was reported that the 22-year-old lady was found with some body parts missing.

Meanwhile, the suspect later claimed that he had no connection with the fashion designer’s death but was only following instructions of her abductors who held him and Bamise hostage in the bus.
