Shehu Sani Reveals How Community Wrote Several Letters To Min. Of Transport Asking For Overhead Bridge Before NTA Staff Was Crushed To Death

Members of the Chikakore community in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory wrote several letters to the Ministry of Transportation for the construction of an overhead bridge for easy commuting since the train tracks pass through their community, but were ignored.

Senator Shehu Sani made the revelation on Twitter after NTA accountant, Hania Selimat was crushed to death by a Kaduna-Abuja train last Thursday, 

In a post shared on his social media handle, Sani stated that the Ministry ignored the request of the community members. 

Late Selimat who was a principal accountant in NTA was crushed to death after her car was run over by the train while she was attempting to cross the rail track.

Posting photos of copies of the letters written to the Ministry, Senator Sani wrote

”Before the Train crushed and killed Hajia Selimat in Kubwa,the Community wrote several letters to Ministry of Transport requesting for a Bridge,they were IGNORED”
