Nigerian striker Chinedu Udechukwu is dead

Nigeria footballer and Nasarawa United striker, Chinedu Udechukwu is dead.

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Club, Nasarawa United confirmed the death via statement issued the media officer of the club Solid Miners, Eche Amos on Thursday.

“Information reaching us from reliable sources said the attacker slumped and died in Jos, Plateau State, on Wednesday, 21st December, 2022, after complaining of severe headache”.

“Edu”, as he was fondly called, was a young man full of life and great dreams.

He was also a phenomenal figure as far as club football is concerned in Nigeria having also played for the likes of two-time CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba FC of Aba and Katsina United FC.

The striker played for Sunshine Stars mid 2019/20 and played with the Club through the better part of 2020/21 season before joining Nasarawa United subsequently recently.

The 27-year-old also had a short stint in Europe for Slovenian Outfit Olimpija between 2017-2019.
