Shehu Sani Speaks On Police Arrest And Arraignment Of Hoodlums Who Attacked Atiku’s Convoy In Borno

Senator Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District has commended the security agent for nabbing the political thugs who attacked the convoy of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar in Borno State.

Atiku’s convoy was reportedly attacked in Borno during a PDP presidential campaign rally precisely on November 10.

In a recent update over the attack, the Borno State Commissioner of Police, Abdul Umar, on Thursday, said his command has arrested and charged nine of the attackers to court.

Reacting to the development, Shehu Sani commended the police but charged them to put more effort and ensure that the hoodlums who attacked the PDP presidential rally in Kaduna State are also brought to book.

In a tweet on his official handle, the former governorship aspirant said, “The Police arrest and arraignment of suspects who attacked the convoy of Atiku Abubakar when he visited Borno State is commendable.

“Those who attacked the rally of the PDP Presidential candidate in Kaduna have still not been brought to book”.
