The Assistant Superintendent of Police, Drambi Vandi alleged to have shot a Lagos based lawyer, Bolanle Raheem has been remanded in prison custody by a magistrate court sitting in Yaba, Lagos.
The court ordered that Vandi be remanded at Ikoyi Correctional Centre until January 30.
The prosecution was led by Lagos Attorney-General Moyosore Onigbanjo.
RovingNaija News reported that Bolanle was coming from an eatery with her family members on Christmas Day and had tried to make a U-turn under the Ajah Bridge when the cop shot at her vehicle.
The bullet hit the 41-year-old as she was rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
The slain lawyer, who had a child, was seven-months pregnant when tragedy struck.
