UPDATE: Hours After Parents’ Burial, Murdered Son Of Slain CBN Staff Buried In Abeokuta 

Oreoluwa Fatinoye, the late son of CBN Staff who was set abalze on new year day with his wife, has been buried in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

RovingNaija News had earlier reported that Oreoluwa’s corpse was recovered from a river in the Adigbe-Obada area of Abeokuta on Tuesday.

The assassins responsible for the death of his parents, Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye had abducted Oreoluwa on Sunday during an attack on their residence.

The assailants after killing Oreoluwa’s parents also burnt their corpse in their house located within the Ibara Government Reservation Area (GRA).

At the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of their maid who was abducted also is yet unknown.

After Oreoluwa’s corpse was discovered, it was taken in the police pick-up van to State Hospital Ijaiye, Abeokuta, but later released to the family for burial

A brief Christian service was conducted at the cemetery situated along Kobape-Siun dual carriage road in Abeokuta, before the final interment.

The occasion was witnessed by family members, friends and sympathizers.

Meanwhile, the remains of Oreoluwa’s parents was buried on Monday at Lantoro Cemetery in Abeokuta after a church service held at Christ Anglican Church, Iporo Ake, Abeokuta.

The police spokesperson in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said a suspect has been arrested in respect to the murder.
