It Is A Lie- Atiku Distances Self From Peter Obi’s Face On His Campaign Poster

The presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has distanced himself from the viral photo and video of Dr. Peter Obi on his campaign poster sighted in Bauchi State.

Atiku made the denial through his presidential campaign council spokesperson, Daniel Bwala while featuring as a guest on Arise TV Morning Show on Thursday. 

There has been a video circulating online which showed bags of rice bearing the face of Obi with the logo of the PDP. It was rumoured that the former vice president was trying to use the strategy to woo voters, claiming Peter Obi has formed an alliance with his candidature.

However, Bwala has denied the speculation, saying it is not true.

He said, “That is not true to have emanated from us. Why I am saying that is because if you go to Bauchi now, people are even reporting that the Governor of Bauchi State is with the G-5. So, could he be behind that? Certainly no.”
