Popular Nigerian actor, Taiwo Hassan, also as Ogogo, has revealed how he used his boxing skill to teach an unruly fan a lesson in Ilaro, Ogun State.
In a video that went viral online, the actor could be seen fighting with a lout who was said to have demanded an amount of money from him which he couldn’t afford.
While sharing with members of the public his side of the story via his Instagram page, Ogogo stated that he was in his hometown, Ilaro in Ogun state to inspect a project before he was approached by some louts who happen to be his fans.
This approach has become a norm, as celebrities have come to terms with the fact that they will always get such kind of approach from fans wherever they go.
While the louts were praising the movie star, they said: ‘We watch your movie’, ‘give us money’, ‘We watched you all through our childhood’ and Ogogo added that as actors, they hear these every day.
“I offered all I had on me and one of them dragged me by my ‘agbada’ and demanded for an amount I could not pay. I asked him to leave me, but he said, ‘Do your worse’. The rest is story,” Ogogo said.
The movie star seized the opportunity to plead with fans who are in the habit of harassing celebrities as he pleaded with Nigerians to stop harassing actors and other celebrities.
“Do you pay anyone for doing your job? No. It is our job too. Accept all we offer when we do. Remember, once a boxer, always a boxer,” he added.
