The Prize Of Marriage Should Be Happiness, Fulfilment & Mental Well-being- Aisha Yesufu Reacts To Video Interview Of Ireti Doyle 

Since the confirmatory video about the divorce of a popular Nollywood Actress, Ireti Doyle from her husband, Patrick Doyle hit the internet, mixed reactions have continued to trail the revelation.

During an online interview with Chude Jideonwo recently, Ireti made the confirmation of her divorce with the veteran Nollywood Actor, Patrick Doyle.

The couple got married in 2004 and in 2017, they had a serious marital crisis that led to a partial seperation for about two years. In 2019, her hubby owned up to his mistake and publicly apologized to the Tinsel actress. 

She eventually returned to her marriage untill the recent break up which she confirmed in her online video interview.

Reacting to the confirmation by Ireti Doyle, right activist and social media influencer, Aisha Yesufu said the longetivity of marriage should not be the prize.

The activist wrote: “We should learn to be comfortable with divorce. The longevity of a marriage should not be the prize.

The prize should be happiness, fulfillment and mental wellbeing of the couple involved. Where it is no longer optimal, people can decide to go their separate ways and be happy.”
