2023: It Will Be Dangerous To Relinquish The Future Of Nigeria To A Greenhorn- Atiku Hits Tinubu, Obi 

As Nigerians inch closer to the February presidential election, presidential candidates are giving insights into why the electorates should vote right so as to avoid electing the wrong leader to lead the country for another four years.

The recent warning came from the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar. 

While speaking at the National Economic Summit Group, Atiku revealed why it will be dangerous for Nigerians to have produce a greenhorn to lead for another four years.

Atiku is one of the leading presidential candidates jostling to succeed president Muhammadu Buhari whose tenure will come to an end in May 29.

Speaking at the programme, Atiku said that Africas most populous country cannot afford to be ruled by a greenhorn.

“It will be dangerous to relinquish the future of Nigeria to a Greenhorn”

Explaining further, the PDP chieftain said: “As head of the economic management team, while I was Vice President, I was instrumental in designing a private sector revival strategy and advocated for the opening of the economy for private sector investments in several sectors. And we made tremendous progress,” the former vice president tweeted on his handle.

“I’m sure you still remember the good old days of rapid economic growth with stable interest and exchange rates, low inflation, low unemployment rates, and low poverty headcount. We paid off nearly all of our foreign debt which was crippling the country.

“It will be dangerous for Nigeria to relinquish their future to a greenhorn or the national leader of the same party that brought us to this very sorry situation.”
