How Twin Explosion Rocked APC Rally, Injured Three
Not less than three people were said to have sustained injury following the twin bomb explosion that rocked the campaign rally of the All Progressive Congress in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
The incident took place at Rumu-Woji Playground, Port Harcourt, Rivers State where the rally was held.
It was gathered that the casualties of the incident are mostly women. Those hurt have been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
A source said: “The explosion came with a loud bang and some persons were injured.
“The party officials had altercation with the youths of the community over access to the venue of the rally before the explosion occurred.”
The Publicity Secretary of the APC, Darlington Nwauju, confirmed the incident, describing it as ‘unfortunate’.
