What Happened Between Peter Obi And PDP Nat’l Secretary During Their Meeting At Abuja Airport 

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Dr. Peter Obi has confirmed his meeting with the National Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, Samuel Anyanwu on Saturday.

Obi “ran into” Anyanwu and other erstwhile political colleagues at the Abuja airport.

According to the former governor of Anambra state, the two politicians exchanged banters and pleasantries during their meeting.

“We exchanged pleasantries and convivial banter. Our politics must be issue-based, and not about personalities,” the Labour Party candidate said in a tweet.

Obi had met with the PDP chieftains while en route to Kafanchan in Kaduna State for a rally. The Obi-Datti Baba-Ahmed presidential rally will hold at the Kafanchan Township Stadium.

Obi is a former member of the PDP. During the last general elections, in 2019, he was the vice-presidential candidate of the party, but quit the platform in May after realising he wouldn’t win the PDP presidential ticket.
