Despite McCain’s Deformity, Obama’s Team Didn’t Mock Him In 2008 US Election – Festus Keyamo Reacts To Dino Melaye Mocking Tinubu

The spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has reacted to the recent stage display of Dino Melaye, the spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council.

Dino in a trending social media video was said to have fallen himself on the campaign stage in a deliberate attempt to either mimick or mock the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the video, Dino Melaye was referring to a particular campaign rally of the ruling party where Tinubu was said to have fallen on stage probably due to stress or health challenge.

The display from the ex-Kogi Senator has caught the attention of the minister of state for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo who also doubled as the campaign spokesperson for the ruling party.

Reacting on his verified twitter handle on Wednesday, Keyamo said:

“Obama Team did not mock his rival, they show him respect in 2008 US Election.”

He however demands an apology from the opposition party.

He wrote: “Obama’s rival in 2008 US election, Sen. McCain had a deformity in one hand. Obama’s team showed him respect & NEVER mocked him for it. But here, a VP candidate laughs as a clown falls on stage to mock another candidate. It’s the height of imbecility. They owe Nigerians an apology”
