I’m For The Emergence Of A South East President To Heal The Wounds Of Civil War- Kashim Shettima

The vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Kashim Shettima has revealed his stance about the emergence of a president of South East origin.

Shettima made this known at the APC Local Government Summit organized for Tinubu Shettima at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The former Borno State governor who disclosed that the move will heal the wounds of the civil war however said that the course has to be championed by better people.

He identified the likes of former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha and present governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi as people who can make a good president from the East.

In an event broadcast by TVC, Shettima said: “I am for the emergence of a South Eastern president to heal the wound of the civil war.”

Speaking further, the former Borno governor said: “But the modus operandi adopted by the delusional OBIdient crowd is condemnable and will take them nowhere. I believe that even in the south East, there are better-qualified people to rule this nation than Gregory Peter Obi.

“My friend Rochas Anayo okorocha can do that. We have Dave Umahi, you can call him a provincial governor, but no governor in the south East has performed than him “
