Check Out Photos Of President Buhari With Tinubu At A Campaign Rally In Imo

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined the presidential candidate of his party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to preach the gospel of his candidature in Imo State on Tuesday.

Buhari’s involvement in the campaign train to the South East state appears to have doused the tension and ruled out the speculation about the cold war between the president and the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress.

Clad in fitting white attire, Buhari officially presented Tinubu to the people of Imo State, reinstating his commitment to make him (Tinubu) his successor.

President Buhari had before now selected about ten states where he would campaign for the former governor of Lagos apparently due to his busy schedule and demand of his office.

The decision however raised speculation by members of the public who thought there was a personality clash between the two party leaders.

The speculation was further fuelled by series of utterances made by Tinubu which were believed to be targeted at the president and the party.

Tweeting the picture of president Buhari and Tinubu at the campaign ground on his verified handle on Tuesday, the Director of Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga wrote:

“President Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu campaign together in Owerri, with Governor Hope Uzodimma as chief host. Buhari said for the umpteenth time that Tinubu will be his successor.”

The photo has however attracted reactions from Nigerians.
