Reactions As Senator Shehu Sani Asks: Where Are Those 93 Million People Who Collected PVC?

The former Senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District has thrown a challenge at the Independent National Electoral Commission about the number of registered voters for the just concluded presidential election in Nigeria.

According to INEC register, about ninety three million eligible voters registered and collected their Permanent Voter Cards to be able to participate in the general election.

However, it was widely reported that the figure does not reflect the total number of people who voted on Saturday for the presidential and National Assembly candidates of their choice.

The low turn out is believed to be part of strategies adopted by politicians to rig the election and twist its outcome to their favour.
