Ex-Man U Player, Roy Keane Identifies Players To Blame For Their Embarrassing Defeat At Liverpool
The embarrassing defeat suffered by Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday evening has become a major talking point by football pundits in the last few hours.
The Red Devils clashed with Liverpool in a London Derby but ended in a humiliating encounter for the visitors.
With seven whooping goals unreplied, the host proved their dominance and superiority in the stretch of 90 minutes of the game.
Reacting to the humiliation after the match, former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, blamed the “senior players” at the club for their 7-0 defeat.
The ex-Man U skipper who spoke on Sky Sports, slammed the more experienced members of the United squad for all the errors that led to the defeat.
He said: “A shocking day. The senior players were embarrassing. They didn’t show any leadership skills.
“A really tough day for Man Utd and thank goodness I have never been part of losing like that.
“The players will be ashamed when the going got tough, they went missing,” Keane said.
