Sowore Reacts To Peter Obi’s Interview Saying He Is Not Challenging Tinubu’s Victory But The Process

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of African Alliance Congress has slammed the candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi over his recent interview on Arise TV.

Shortly after his live interview on the National TV, the former governor of Anambra state became a major topic of discussion on social and conventional media over his comments about the recently concluded presidential election.

One of the major takeaway from the session is the statement credited to him saying he is not challenging the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President-Elect but the process that gave him the victory which he described as flawed.

Reacting to the statement on his verified twitter handle immediately after the interview, Sowore disclosed that not challenging the outcome of the election is like saying he is not challenging a robber that came to rob his house because he is a beloved uncle.

Sowore, who is one of the presidential candidates who participated in the presidential election on February 25 frowned at Obi’s position on the outcome of the election.

He wrote on twitter:

“Their Uncle @officialABAT carried out election heist of the worst order, @peterobi however still loves him as a fatherly figure, so in a rigmarole, he does not believe in challenging the outcome but just wanna challenge the process. This is like saying someone robbed your house and took everything but you’re only gonna challenge the getaway car maker! Because the robber is a beloved uncle!”
