Bode George Endorsed Rhodes-Vivour Of LP Because I Stopped Him From Being A Godfather In PDP- Jandor

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Lagos, Olajide Adediran has explained the crux of the disagreement between him and leader of his party in Lagos, Chief Olabode George.

Jandor, who was on Arise TV Morning Show on Wednesday, spoke on several subjects regarding the forthcoming governorship election and his chances of winning the poll.

Asked why he is not in good terms with the PDP chieftain, he explained that it was because he fought him from being a godfather in the party. Rather than seeing his point, he decided to abandon him and endorsed the governorship candidate of the Labour party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

He said: “Bode George endorsed Rhodes-Vivour because I stopped him from being a godfather in PDP.”

Adediran, who disclosed that it was the same godfatherism he fought against that made him leave the ruling All Progressive Congress, said he would not allow the same scenario to thrive in PDP.

He claimed that Bode George and other chieftains of the party who endorsed GRV cannot stop him from winning the election because they are light weight politicians.

His word: “I fought against godfatherism in APC, Lagos. My refusal of recognising Bode George as a godfather in the PDP is a major reason for his endorsement of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of LP against my candidature in the PDP”
