Lagos Police Begins Investigation Into MC Oluomo’s Threat To Igbo Voters

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa has reacted to the statement made by the State Park Management Committee Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya fondly known as MC Oluomo.


The police boss who featured on Arise TV interview on Friday spoke on the police preparation for the state Governorship and House of Assembly elections currently ongoing.
Asked if the command will be taking

up MC Oluomo on his statement which went viral since Thursday, the CP said the park committee chairman has been placed under an investigation over the matter.
MC Oluomo, in the viral video had threatened Igbo residents in Lagos to stay at home on Saturday if they are not going to vote for the All Progressive Congress.
The statement has attracted outrage from Lagosians who called on the security agents to do their job.
Speaking on the matter on Friday, the police commissioner condemned the development and assured Lagosians the police had already launched investigation into it and will do the right thing.
