Keyamo Petitions DSS Against Peter Obi, Baba-Ahmed Over Inciting Statement

The chief spokesman of the All Progressive Congress presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo has petitioned the Department of State Security Services against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed.

Keyamo made this known on his verified twitter handle on Thursday afternoon.

The minister of Labour and Employment accused the former governor of Anambra state and his vice presidential candidate of making inciting statements capable of causing anarchy in the country.

He also described their action as treasonable felony, an offence agaisnt the constitution.

Keyamo had earlier accused Peter Obi of trying to use the court to treat Bola Tinubu the same way MKO Abiola was treated in 1993. He revealed the plans being made by the Labour Party candidate to annul the February 25 presidential election.

In a follow up to his statement, Keyamo decided to approach the DSS to rein in on Peter Obi and his vice.

He wrote on twitter: “Earlier today, I submitted a petition to the Dept. of State Services (DSS) against Mr. Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed to rein them in for their conducts and utterances which bother on incitement & treasonable felony. A call for peace & national healing does not amount to weakness.”
