Reactions As Shehu Sani Reveals How A Foreign Observer’s Phone Was Stolen At Collation Center

A former senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has revealed how a foreign observer’s phone was stolen at the collation centre of the just concluded general election in Nigeria.

Although, the Kaduna born politician did not reveal whether the incident happened during the presidential election or the last Saturday governorship and state Houses of Assembly election.

According to Senator Sani who disclosed the information on his Twitter handle on Wednesday night, the foreign observer was charging his phone behind his chair while monitoring the electoral proceeding at the collation centre.

But by the time he would be turning to check what he was charging, the phone has disappeared. The Senator of the 8th Assembly disclosed that every attempt to recover the phone proved abortive as nobody could be pinned down as a prime suspect.

The disclosure has however generated some reactions on social media. While some people claimed that Nigeria has happened to the victim, others said the situation will help the foreign observer to be more detailed with his report being a direct victim of the Nigerian system.
