Fani Kayode Blasts British Diplomat Who Threatened Him With Visa Ban Over Hate Speech, Ethnic Profiling 

Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed the British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria for threatening him with Visa Ban over what is described as hate speech and ethnic incitement comments.

The spokesperman of Tinubu’s presidential Campaign Council had during the build up to the governorship and states Houses of Assembly election told Igbo people to stay off Lagos politics.

According to Fani Kayode who is very consistent with his attacks on opposition parties and whoever refused to support Tinubu’s Presidential Election as well as Govenernor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos should not be regarded as a no man’s land by the Igbo people.

He warned them to stay off the politics of the state or face dire consequence. 

True to his words, some Igbo residents in Lagos claimed that they were severely dealt with during the governorship election while many of them were disenfranchised.

Commenting on the development, the British Deputy High Commissioner explained the move made by the Commission to sanction election offenders and those who promote hate speech.

Giving the update, the British Envoy mentioned Fani-Kayode’s name as one of the people who consistently made inciting statements on social media.

Reacting to the statement by the British Deputy High Commissioner, Fani Kayode told the UK official to stay away from Nigeria’s matter.

In a long write up posted on twitter, FFK as fondly called told the Briton he has no right to meddle with Lagos political affairs.
