My Best President, Barack Obama Refused To Visit Nigeria, Now Kamala Is Following Suit- Shehu Sani

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has reacted to the decision of the US vice president to exclude Nigeria from the list of African countries to be visited when she comes to the continent.

Kamala who was widely celebrated during Joe Biden’s election in 2021 raised so much concerns when it was gathered she would not be visiting Nigeria when she comes to Africa in a few days.

The reason for her action was not given in the report but the American vice president has concluded her plans to leave the largest black nation of the world out of the list of countries to be visited in Africa.

Reacting to the news, the 8th Assembly senator and right activist, Shehu Sani likened Kamala Harris’ decision to the same experience Nigerians had during Barack Obama’s tenure.

Obama, who was the first black democratically elected president of America and who partly originated from Kenya refused to visit Nigeria despite the huge support Nigerians gave him when he was contesting his election.

Writing on his verified twitter handle on Sunday evening, Shehu Sani said: “My best president, Barack Obama refused to visit Nigeria, now Kamala is following suit.”

Shehu Sani stated this in response to the recent the move by the US vice president.He wrote: “My best President @BarackObama refused to visit Nigeria;now @KamalaHarris is following suit.It’s ok.”
