Name And Arrest Those Plotting Interim Govt- Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council Challenges DSS

The National Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council, Yabagi Sani has challenged the Department of State Security Services to name and arrest those who are plotting to install an Interim government in Nigeria.

The secret police on Wednesday revealed that some people are ploting to install an Interim government to succeed president Muhammadu Buhari on May 29.

The plan, according to DSS, is to stop the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu from taking over as president by the time Buhari’s tenure expires in May.

The security agency disclosed that it knows some of the people who are making the plans.

Reacting to the revelation, the Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council, Sani Yabagi challenged the DSS to name and arrest the people involved.

He said: “Name and arrest those ploting Interim government.”

Sani stated this on Wednesday while featuring on Channels TV Politics Today.

According to him, it is not enough for DSS to raise the alarm and create panic in the public. The secret police should also do Nigerians well by naming and arresting those involved so it can serve as deterrent to others who do not know the implication of the plot.
