PDP NWC Should Be In Sober Mood After Loosing Election Instead Of Going After Party Leaders- Ayo Fayose
Former govenor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has slammed the National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party for trying to penalize the party leaders who either played anti-party or worked against the candidature of Atiku Abubakar during the presidential election.
Fayose who revealed that he worked for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, candidate of the All Progressive Congress during the election is one of the party leaders including a sitting govenor that was suspended by the National Working Committee.
Although, their suspension has been lifted the rift among the party executives is still lingering.
Reacting to the development on his verified twitter handle on Friday, the former governor said: PDP National Working Committee should have been in sober mood after losing the election instead of going after party leaders. “
The former governor who blamed the party’s failure to win the presidential election on the decision to jettison zoning arrangements, maintained that the PDP is yet to learn from its past mistake.
He wrote: “Think of this…
lmagine a PDP National Working Committee that should be in very sober and reflective mood after losing a national election, going after leaders perceived to be their enemies, including a sitting governor in the party and suspending them!”
