A Fair Win Does Not Produce Tension For You & Others, Do Everything To Secure A Just Victory- Oby Ezekwesili 

Former Nigerian minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to the current political tension that is heating up the country over the recently concluded general elections.

The Bring Back Our Girls convener made the reaction on her verified twitter handle on Thursday, advising people to do everything in life to secure a just victory.

According to her, a fair win does not produce tension for the winner and others.

She wrote: “A fair win does not produce tension for you and others, therefore always do everything in Life to secure a just victory. 

“That way, you’ll beautifully rejoice in victory and others will join you.”

RovingNaija recalls that the result of the presidential election in Nigeria has escalated tension across the country as opposition parties have continued to march against the outcome of the election.

Even members of the ruling party who are supposed to be basking in the grandeur of victory are fighting tooth and nail to establish that they truly won the elections. It has been from one battle to another with the opposition since the announcement of results and declaration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president-elect.

The country has been further plunged into tension since Peter Obi of Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party approached the court to challenge the outcome of the elections.

It is on this basis that Oby Ezekwesili revealed that a fair win does not produce tension for you and others and asked people to do everything to secure a just victory.
