Some People Prayed For Interim Govt After Losing The Election But God Answered Them With Interim Chairman -Keyamo

Nigerian Minister of Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has mocked the Labour Party over the crisis currently rocking the political party.

The party recently plunged into crisis following the suspension of its National Chairman, Julius Abure. Abure was earlier suspended by the executive members at his ward before he was later asked to step aside by the Federal High Court.

Shortly after his suspension, another chairman emerged claiming to be the substantive chairman and vowed to reorganize the party.

His emergence however triggered speculations that he was sponsored by the camp of Bola Tinubu to preside over the affairs of the opposition party with a view to create disunity in Labour Party and consequently distract them from focusing on the battle to claim Peter Obi’s mandate in court.

Reacting to the development, Festus Keyamo said God Almighty has a way of answering some people’s prayers.

He said: “Some people prayed for interim government after losing the election, but God answer them with an interim chairman.”

He wrote this statement on his verified twitter handle.

He said: “God Almighty has a way of answering some prayers; after losing the Presidential election, some persons  (in apparent bitterness) prayed for an Interim Government, so God decided to answer their prayers by giving them interim Party Chairmen. Is our God not a miracle-working God?”
