Angry Mob Lynches Suspected Internet Fraudster After Killing Three, Injuring Others While Driving

An angry mob on Monday lynched a suspected internet fraudster that killed three persons along Ijoka road in Akure.

His vehicle was also set on fire by the mob.

RovingNaija gathered that the accident involved a Toyota car, suspected to be owned by the internet fraudster.

According to eye witness account, the suspect rammed into about five commercial motorcycles carrying passengers at different spots along Ijo Mimo, through Sunday bus stop, Ijoka road.

Three people reportedly died on the spot, while others sustained series of injuries.

The suspect who drove the Toyota car  did not sustain any injury and was trying to escape from the scene before he was caught by some youths and was beaten to a state of coma. He was thereafter stoned to death.

Some of the injured persons were rescued and taken to nearby hospitals, while the lifeless bodies were later taken to the morgue.
