If APC Devotes Its Propaganda Energy On Good Governance, Nigeria Won’t Remain The Way It Is- Rhodes-Vivour

The governorship candidate of Labour Party in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has come down heavily on the ruling All Progressive Congress and its propaganda tools used on social media.

Rhodes-Vivour berated the ruling party for politicizing everything that happens in the public in the name of trying to score a cheap political point.

The Labour Party chieftain was reacting to the viral picture of his visit to the palace of Oba of Lagos where he was accused of paying homage to the monarch without removing his cap.

The picture was posted by one of his supporters, Akin Olaoye on twitter who called on Obidients to debunk the rumour about GRV not removing his cap at the palace.

Reacting to the picture, Gbadebo noted that: “If APC could devote a quarter of its propaganda on good governance, Nigeria will not remain the same way it is.”

Rhodes-Vivour stated this on his verified twitter handle on Monday.

He wrote: “f the APC and their TweetBots devoted a quarter of the energy they spend on propaganda and weaving lies to good governance, Nigeria and Lagos will not be in the state it is…The poverty capital of the world and the 2nd worst liveable city in the world.”

The Labour Party candidate in the last gubernatorial election did not however outrightly deny that he left his cap on when he visited the revered Lagos monarch to solicit his blessings prior to the elections.
