Oby Ezekwesili Celebrates Mother’s Posthumous Birthday 3 Years After Death 

Former Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has paid glowing tributes to her late mother in celebration of her 81st posthumous birthday.

Ezekwesili, who is the convener of Bring Back Our Girls advocacy decided to remember her late mum on her special day and to show she is still very much loved even in death.

In the tweet she posted on her handle, the former presidential hopeful lamented the passage of her mother three years ago but claimed that it is the Lord’s doing and He decided to take her mother to His side.

She noted that her grief over the last three years has been translated into gratitude for the privilege God gave her and her siblings to be born and raised by such an Amazon like her mother.

She wrote: “Nnem! Ezigbo Nnem!! We would have been celebrating your 81st today had our Lord not decided He needed in the yonder above. My grief has over the last 3 years transformed into gratitude for the privilege you gave us your children to be born and raised by an Amazon!#”
