Reactions As Reno Omokri Advises People To Love Who They Marry & Not Necessarily Marry Who They Love

Reno Omokri, former aide to the Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has given a marital advice to the younger generation looking forward to embark on a fresh journey to marriage.

The motivational speaker who also doubles as a human right activist quoted a biblical injunction which explains that it is not necessary for man to marry a woman that he loves but to love the woman he marries.

According to him, people should love whoever they get married to and not necessarily marry who they love. He disclosed that it is not a big deal to marry someone that you don’t love. But what matters is to love that person once you get married to him or her.

He claimed that the notion is backed by scripture and should be strictly followed.

He made this known on his verified twitter page on Thursday.

He wrote: “You don’t have to marry a person who is in love with you. If you can, good. But if not, it is no big deal. None of the people in Scripture married people who were in love with them. Scripture says love who you marry. It does not say marry who is in love with you. “

There have been mixed reactions to the views on twitter.
