You Are So Unprofessional, You Are Helping To Spread Fake News-Ezekwesili Slams Reuben Abati Over Post On Adeboye’s Comment 

Former Nigerian Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has lambasted Reuben Abati over the statement made by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

The revered man of God was widely reported on Monday to have encouraged Nigerians that Tinubu will fix the country and also charged the President-elect to live up to people’s expectations.

Abati was among the journalists who reported the statement through his online blog. 

Many people who are close to pastor Adeboye have refuted the comment, saying Daddy GO as fondly regarded did not make such a statement. As a matter of fact, he was not even present at the occasion where he was said to have made such a remark.

Reacting to Abati’s post, Oby Ezekwesili who is the former Nigerian Minister of Education knocked the Arise TV Morning Show anchor for being unprofessional with his report.

Ezekwesili, who is an ordained Deaconess in RCCG accused the former Media Assistant to the Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan of joining them to peddle fake news.

The Bring Back Our Girls convener expressed her reservations on her verified twitter handle on Tuesday.

She wrote: “@abati1990 How so unprofessional, Rueben. You are helping to spread FAKE NEWS? Well, I am not entirely surprised.

You know Pastor @PastorEAAdeboye NEVER said this. If you did not know, you could have at least fact-checked, not so?  Do yourself good and take this utter rubbish down.”
