“One Thrilion Naira Fraud Happened Under A Govt That Elevated Itself To The Altar Of Sainthood”- Shehu Sani Attacks Buhari’s Govt.

A former senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has lamented the recent report of monumental fraud discovered under the present administration led by president Muhammadu Buhari.

It was earlier reported that an audit carried out by the Auditor General in various Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Goverment revealed that a sum of one Thrilion Naira has been embezzled.

How the money disappeared and what it was used for was not disclosed. However, the development was considered unfortunate for the fact that it happened under an administration that promised to tackle corruption headlong and reduce it drastically.

Reacting to the report , the former Senator of the 8th Assembly said the report is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.

He said: “One Thrilion Naira fraud happened under a government that elevated itself to the altar of sainthood.”

Shehu Sani made this known on his verified twitter handle.

He wrote: “The report of the Auditor General that revealed over One trillion Naira fraud in MDAs is unprecedented in the history of our country. This happened under a leadership that blows its angelic trumpet, beats its drums, plays its piano and elevated itself to the altar of sainthood.”
