Rufai Oseni Mocks Abike Dabiri After Telling Arise TV Owner To Caution His Girls

The controversy between the Chairperson, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Arise TV Morning Show anchor has taken an interesting dimension following a recent tweet by Rufai Oseni.

Oseni, one of the blunt and daunting analysts of the breakfast programme decided to dig up an old tweet posted by Dabiri in response to a man who criticized her for not doing enough on how Nigerians were sentenced to death by hanging in Indonesia a few months ago.

The development is coming hours after the NIDCOM boss called out Arise TV Owner, Nduka Obaigbena to call their girls to order from ruining the broadcasting profession.

The call was necessitated by the comment made by Ayo Mairo-Essen over the interview granted by a popular YouTuber, Emdee Tiamayu on how Nigerian Youths capitalize on Study Visa to travel to UK with their families.

In the BBC interview granted on Monday, the YouTuber insists that Nigerians who travelled to the UK for study did not really embark on it because of certificate or the school but to escape from the country.

Few hours after the interview, the UK government banned Nigerians from traveling to the country with their families during studies.

Many Nigerians criticised Emdee Tiamayu for his interview claiming it formed the basis for UK government decision.

Anaylzing the matter during the Wednesday edition of Arise TV Morning Show, Ayo Mairo revealed that Tiamiyu is not at fault but Nigeria’s government which is fond of demarketing the youths in the international communities.

She reminded her viewers about how President Muhammadu Buhari described the youths as being lazy when he went to the US in the early days of his administration. She also spoke about how Abike Dabiri-Erewa disclosed that Nigerian youths are drug dealers in her response to tweets on social media.

Ayo Mairo’s statement however triggered an outrage from Dabiri who called Obaigbena to call her to order. She said Arise News girls are ruining the broadcasting profession.

Reacting to Dabiri’s statement, Rufai Oseni mocked the former Lawmaker by retweeting that particular post on her page and wrote: “Ok, we love you.”
