Breaking! Tinubu Takes Oath Of Office As Nigeria’s President

Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken the oath of office as the new President of Nigeria.

He is the 16th President of Nigeria.

The oath of office was conducted by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola at exactly 10.40AM.

Tinubu was accompanied by his wife, Senator Remi Tinubu and his children.

President Muhammadu Buhari and wife, Aisha, as well as Yusuf Buhari accompanied President Tinubu to the stage.

President Tinubu later signed the dotted lines committing himself to rule by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The flag was later lowered and presented to former President Muhammadu Buhari who later handed over the new colours to the new President.

At the moment, President Tinubu is inspecting the guards of honour in company of his security aides.
