Rousing Welcome As Ex-President Buhari, Wife Land In Katsina

Former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari alongside his wife, Hajiya Aisha Buhari and some members of the erstwhile first family have arrived Katsina State.

The former president left Abuja to Daura after he handed over power to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Eagle’s Square, Abuja, earlier today.

Buhari arrived to a warm welcome by a crowd of admirers and well-wishers at the Umaru Musa Yaradua International Airport in Katsina.

Among those that received him were the immediate past governor, Aminu Bello Masari, the Emirs of Katsina, Daura and several prominent sons and daughters of the state.

The former President then proceeded to Daura which is 80km away from Katsina.

He is expected to be treated to a warm reception and durbar organized by the Daura Emirate council scheduled for Tuesday.
