Four Prophecies From Notable Nigerian Pastors About Tinubu’s Inauguration That Never Came To Pass

The inauguration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president of Nigeria has further sparked questions about the authenticity of prophecies from men of God on politics and the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

Before and after the election, there were series of prophecies and proclamations by self acclaimed pastors about whether there would be election, who would win and who would be finally sworn-in as president.

Many of the prophecies were conspicuously against the now inaugurated president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. While some prophets revealed that Tinubu would never win the election, others believed that he would never be sworn-in even if he is declared by INEC.

There are four major prophecies that were made about the former governor of Lagos state concerning his election and inauguration that have today, missed-the-road.

1. Tinubu will be arrested

The founder of ‘I Reign Christian Ministry’, Bishop Feyi Daniel had issued a prophecy in a video that went viral in February 19 that the president would be arrested by the military on inauguration day.

According to the YouTube video, the arrest would be made at the inauguration venue when everybody would be rejoicing and celebrating the incoming administration. He said before the commencement of the proceeding, the security agency will swing into action, arrest and forcefully take him away from the venue.

2. Another Prophet, Godfrey Chidi who is the convener of the Holy National Convention for Divine Intervention in Nigerian Affairs revealed that he foresaw a bleak future in 2023 in Nigeria. 

The cleric said there would be an interim government from May 29. He made the disclosure in July 2022. He also said neither Tinubu nor any of the presidential candidates will be inaugurated on May 29.

3. Peter Obi will succeed Buhari 

This prophecy was made by a popular Prophet Odumeje Chukwuemeka in March 2023.

Odumeje, who is also known as ‘Indabosky’ noted that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi would succeed Buhari and wipe tears away from the eyes of Nigerians.

The popular man of God made the prediction while speaking to journalists after a church service at his Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, Anambra State.

4. Tinubu won’t be sworn-in 

According to Pastor Kingsley Okwuwe, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not be sworn-in even if he won the election.

The cleric who boast of about 850,000 YouTube subscribers, prophesied that Bola Tinubu won’t be sworn in as President on May 29, 2023.

Going through some videos on the cleric’s channel, it was observed that lots of videos were dedicated to his prophecies on May 29, 2023.

However, May 29 event has however proved all the clerics wrong as Tinubu took the oath of office as the 16th president of Nigeria.
