Omoyele Sowore Tackles Peter Obi Over Democracy Day Message 

The presidential candidate of the Action Alliance in the last general election, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the Democracy Day message tweeted by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

The former governor of Anambra state had on Monday refreshed the memories of his followers and Nigerians at large about the struggles for democracy and how June 12 came into existence.

Peter Obi used the Democracy Day Celebration to preach the message of National unity and urge the government to uphold the principle of egalitarian society.

Obi gave this message through his verified twitter handle on Monday.

Reacting to the tweet, Sowore said: “June 12 has become National Opportunists Day.”

He revealed how Peter Obi openly declared that he worked for General Sani Abacha clearing the Tin Can Island Port while Abacha was busy assassinating June 12 protagonists.

Sowore wrote:

“June 12 has now become “National Opportunists Day”

A @peterobi who openly confessed that he worked for General Abacha clearing the Tin Can Island port while Abacha was busy assassinating June 12 protagonists is also using June 12 for cruise.  wonders shall not cease!”
