A yet to be identified man has been caught while allegedly trying to steal a bottle of VSOP worth N58,000, from a supermarket in Benin City, Edo State.
This was disclosed by one Ogedengbe Oiseoruemi Ayodeji Uduaghe on a Facebook post on Wednesday.
He wrote:
“PASTED AS FORWARDED TO ME WITHOUT PREJUDICE: This old dude just stole VSOP costing 58,000 in Hallmark supermarket Benin City. This is not hunger. Let HALLMARK & THE POLICE CONFIRM PLEASE,” he wrote.
The suspect has however been taken to the nearest division of the state police command.
