After Two Children, Butcher’s Wife Gives Birth To Quadruplets Amidst Harsh Economic Realities 

It was a mixed feeling in the family of Mr and Mrs Dauda as the wife, Mrs Rukayat Dauda gave birth to quadruplets, two boys  and two girs at Baaki primary health center Ogbomoso, Oyo state.

Mrs Rukayat who has had two children before now, felt much elated with mixed reactions of financial incapability as she delivered the babies freely without any complications.

Speaking, the husband, Mr. Dauda, a butcher, thanked God who delivered his wife safely, noting that the babies are Gods blessings.

In her words, Mrs Rukayat Dauda expressed joy and happiness for the safe delivery calling on the government of Oyo state to assist her and her husband in taking care of the babies.

The couple said they could not reject the blessing, but the economic situation in the country would make it difficult to give adequate care to the quadruplets.

Speaking with Newsmen, Dr. Isaac Akanmu, a medical officer in the hospital said though the woman was not ripe for delivery,  she delivered safely and the babies are healthy.
