Akure, the Ondo State capital is currently in the news over a woman who was said to have transformed into a cat. Residents and passersby have picketed a house at St Luke’s area of the city where the suspect is believed to be residing.
According to a live broadcast by Crest FM, Akure, the woman allegedly transformed into a Cat creating confusion and tension in the state capital.
In the live broadcast, residents could be seen in large numbers in front of the house where the woman was said to be living.
A shop owner in the area who spoke with Crest FM in the live broadcast, said the woman was caught by one of the residents in front of his shop when she was allegedly transforming to a human form.
Other residents called on the government and the Deji of Akure to quickly arrest the situation, as people are running out of patience with the belief that the “cat-woman” is a witch.
