Peter Obi Breaks Down In Tears As He Vows To Reclaim His Mandate Through Legal & Peaceful Options 

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr Peter Obi has insisted he won the just concluded presidential election.

Obi came third in the contest with over six million votes after winning 11 states across the country. Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner of the election by the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu on Wednesday morning.

Twenty four hours after the emergence of Tinubu as Nigerian president-elect, Peter Obi made his position known through an organized world Press conference in Abuja.

The former Anambra state governor who called for a minute silence for those who were killed during the election revealed that he would not congratulate the president-elect because his victory did not reflect the will and wishes of the people.

Obi who reflected on the suffering of the Nigerian masses broke down in tears during his address and vowed to retrieve his stolen mandate in the court of law.

“We will explore all legal and peaceful options to reclaim our mandate. We won the election and we will prove it to Nigerians.” Obi said tearfully
