Mass Promotion: Rivers Police Commissioner Decorates 913 New ASP’s

The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi has decorated 913 inspectors promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP).

CP Nwonye while decorating the ASPs warned them to shun corruption or any other act that will be inimical to the image of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Rivers Police Boss also advised the newly promoted officers to be professional in the discharge of their duty and in their dealings with the public while he also urged them not to indulge themselves in civic matters.

The Police boss thanked the acting Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun and Chairman of Police Service Commission(PSC) IGP (retired) Solomon Arase for the recommendation and subsequent approval after recommendations.

ASP Jacob Chidiebere who gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted ASP’s thanked the IGP, Chairman Police service Commission and Commissioner of Police for finding them worthy of the promotion.
