Suspected terrorists have invaded St. Raphael Catholic Church Parish in Fadan Kamantan, in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State and burned the parish house leaving a seminarian, Na’aman Danlami, dead.
Some residents of the community who pleaded anonymity told newsmen that some priests narrowly escaped death during the incident.
Reports have it that Danlami was caught in the inferno. But his remains have been deposited in the mortuary.
Confirming the incident in a press release, the Senator representing Kaduna South, Sunday Katung, condemned the attack.
Katang, appealed to security operatives to embark on a month-long operation in southern Kaduna, to fish out those who are responsible for the killing, while he prayed for the repose of the soul of the late seminarian.
At the time of filing this report, efforts to get details from the Kaduna State Police Command on the incident were unsuccessful.
