Okey Bakassi Marks 30 Years On Stage: Tours Three States, FCT, To Discover Talents

Ace comedian Okechukwu MacAnthony Onyegbulem popularly known as Okey Bakassi, is set to celebrate his 30 years on stage at the Eko Convention Center, Eko Hotel on 1st of October 2023.

The event is to feature music, and comedy from established comedians and new comedians. And as part of the activities to herald the event the comedian, actor, MC and a social critic has embarked on tour of campuses in three states across the country and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, to discover talents in comedy.

The discovered talents will feature in the upcoming anniversary.

According to the comedian, ‘’ I am doing a tour of higher institutions. I have done the Institute Of Management And Technology, Enugu, presently, as I am talking to you, I am in River state and I am trying to discover talents in Comedy because I am celebrating my 30 years on stage come October 1st 2023, at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

“I am going through three states and Abuja. The states are: Rivers, Imo and Enugu states respectively and the talent hunt is tagged ‘Okey Bakasi Comedy Hunt’ supported by Amstel Malta,”he said.
