Lagos Police Set Up C’ttee To Investigate Mohbad Death
The Lagos State Police Command has inaugurated a 13-man committee to unravel the immediate and remote causes of the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, who died last Tuesday in controversial circumstances.
The committee which was inaugurated at the command headquarters on Monday had in attendance the deceased father and other members of his family.
While speaking to newsmen at the launch of the panel, the state Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, flanked by Mohbad’s family members, called on the general public to volunteer information to aid in the investigation.
He said all facts including videos will be used during the investigation and that the investigation will not be narrowed to specific names.
He noted that the command will pick on whoever the investigation deems fit. He also added that the command can pick up anyone wherever they are in the world.
‘’Wherever you are in this world, do not forget that we have access to Interpol.” he said
The police boss disclosed that everyone linked to the unfortunate incident will be identified and brought in.
The panel is expected to give their report within two weeks.
