Breaking: Enugu Election Tribunal Upholds Gov. Mba’s Election

The Enugu Governorship Election Tribunal has dismissed the allegations filed by the governorship candidate of the Labour Party Chijioke Edeoga that Governor Peter Mbah’s NYSC discharge certificate was forged.

The tribunal held that Dr Peter Mbah did not submit his NYSC certificate to INEC in aid of his qualification to contest for office of governor, since he was already qualified without NYSC certificate.

The Tribunal also rejected Edeoga’s witnesses, and also ruled that the LP governorship candidate did not present any admissible evidence to prove that Mbah’s certificate was forged.

The tribunal today ruled in favour of the Winner, His Excellency Barr Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba and his Dep. His Excellency Barr Ifeanyi Ossai. All the allegations bothering on NYSC, non compliance to electoral act and corruption where all discharged.
